Try getting a scholarship.  Volleyball scholarships are available at many universities and colleges.  While the amount of scholarship can vary from a free ride to just a bit extra each year, it’s well worth it to try to get a scholarship to help you pay for school and also help you pay for the volleyball equipment that you’ll need.

Look into being a referee.  Since more likely than not you started playing volleyball in middle school or high school, it would be nice to go back there and see new talent.  Referees are often needed during volleyball season.  If you’re interested in being a ref, then contact schools well before the season starts to make sure you have a chance at getting the job.

Organising volleyball camps for youngsters is also a good way to get sponsorship.  During the summer, parents are often looking for sports and things that their children could do during break.  By serving as a good role model and teaching them some volleyball tips, the parents will be very grateful to you.
