How To Get Table Tennis Sponsorships

While not the same as tennis, table tennis is a fast game that keeps everyone on their toes.  If you’ve ever seen table tennis competitions, you’ll have seen some amazing shots.  Maybe you can even do some of them as well.  As a table tennis player, you’re sure to have some tricks up your sleeve.  If you’re interested in becoming a professional table tennis player, then you should consider finding a sponsor.  Sponsors are able to get you free tennis table gear, lessons, or even publicity.  If you’d like to find a sponsor, look at the three tips below.

Make the most of the internet by posting some of your games online.  As mentioned above, table tennis players are able to do some pretty amazing stuff.  Try videotaping some of your games and posting them on youtube.  Post information about yourself, details about your games and education.  If you have a website, then you could post back links to your site as well.

Creating your own website is the second step to get sponsorship.  People all over the world can access the web and can see you play.  You can post information on when your next competitions will be, what the scores were to past games and any medals that you’ve won.  If you’ve put videos up on youtube, you can add them to your website as well.

While having your own website and youtube videos will help you get noticed by potential scouts, you can make money via pay per click ads.  Adsense is probably one of the best known ones out there.  But you could easily find others.  In addition, you should look into affiliate programs and sell table tennis gear.

If this sounds like something that interests you, consider contacting one of our sponsorship consultants to find out more information.
