How To Get Bowling Sponsorships

Bowling, like running, is a sport for children as well as adults.  Even teenagers enjoy going to the bowling alley with friends or going starlight bowling .  The great thing about bowling is that you can play and have conversations with friends.  It’s not that strenuous either, so people of all ages can enjoy it.  There are those out there that bowl professionally and a good way to start is to join a bowling league.  Finding a sponsor is the next step.  You can find three ideas on how to get a sponsor below.

As mentioned above, joining a bowling league is the first step that you can take.  By doing so you can get many of the perks sponsors have to offer without doing the legwork.  Bowling leagues often have team captains in charge of getting sponsors.  Sponsors will help pay for much of the bowling equipment you need and may even give you things for free, such as bowling shirts.

Find a bowling alley that you enjoy going to and go there often.  Talk to the manager and ask if there are discounts if you go there often.  There might also be discounts for groups or bowling leagues.  If the bowling alley that you go to at the moment doesn’t offer discounts, try another bowling alley.  There are bound to be some bowling alleys near you that offer this.

Go back to the bowling alleys near you and ask what they do with the bowling equipment that they no longer use.  Everything has a time limit, so you might be able to get a couple of free bowling balls.  The bowling community is small so managers are often willing to sponsor other serious bowlers.
