How To Get Baseball Sponsorships

America’s favorite pastime is loved by many, but played by few.  While some think that basketball is taking over, baseball will always be the classical American pastime.  Most people can remember going to a baseball game sometime in their lives.  Other still remember spending the summer playing little league.  Maybe you’ve even coached a game or two.  Baseball is a sport that you are unable to play alone and because of that, it’s well worth trying to learn as much as you can about all the positions on a team.  A good way to do that is coach.  This is one of the ways you can get sponsorship for doing something you enjoy.  Below you can find other sponsorship ideas.

Contact companies about your baseball proposal .  Create a sponsorship proposal in which you explain what you would like to get from the companies that sponsor you.  Outline what you are prepared to give to the companies in exchange for their sponsorship. 

As mentioned above, coaching could be a way you could sponsor yourself.  During the spring and summer, there are plenty of baseball teams out there.  Find one that needs a coach and you will help yourself gain experience.  High schools and universities are the best place to start.  Coaching isn’t the only option, consider being a referee or an umpire and you will find that you get a new perspective on the game you love. 

Forming your own team is another option.  Perhaps this is one of the best ways to get noticed by companies and receive money and equipment in the form of sponsorship.  Start locally and write or go in person to meet the owners of local companies.  Make sure you can present a proposal about what you expect.  The first sponsor is always the hardest, but after that, it gets all the easier.
