How To Get Ballet Sponsorships

Ballet dancers are amazing to watch.  They’re light on their feet, can do leaps and jumps, and can make stories come alive through dance.  Although ballet dancers make everything look so easy, but put in tons of hours of practice in order to make that happen.  While ballet dancers don’t need much sporting equipment, the shoes and costumes that they require are expensive.  Lessons can also be expensive, so it always helps if you can get sponsorship.  Below are three ideas to help you find ballet sponsorship.

Choreograph some routines

Chances are that there are a couple of small dance institutes around your town.  Look at local community centers or high schools and see if they need a choreographer for some of their routines.  Often dance schools need more choreographers during competition season.  High schools may often need choreographers for their musicals.  If you’re good at choreographing, chances are that they will ask you back to do more routines in the future.

Organize dance lessons Many little children are enrolled in dance classes in grade school.  Community centers often rent out rooms.  With a little bit of advertising and flyers, you could have a couple of classes a week.  Make sure you put on a show at the end of the classes for the parents.  Parents will love to see what their children have learned in ballet class.
